Camstar Up and Running

You may have seen dramatic pictures of a fire at Camstar on the news, and indeed the drying plant at Chestnuts Farm is temporarily out of action. The nearby warehouse was untouched, so it's only parsley that will be affected. Above all we are fortunate that no-one was hurt.

With regards to production we have a large second drying facility nearby at Progress Way, this is currently working at full capacity (pictured above) and we're looking into ways to further increase productivity. We were fortunate that the harvest started early this year, we already have a large tonnage in storage so we  will continue to be able to meet customer demand.

Our thanks go out to our wonderful staff and the selfless efforts of the fire services.
