Sieve Testing at Camstar

Quality Assurance Manager Jack Pickerden has been keen to tell me about his latest piece of test gear, a RO-TAP RX29 test sieve shaker. While sieve testing has been traditionally done manually by that method it's not always clear that results will be consistent. The RX29 takes up to six 8 inch diameter sieves and actually taps them from the top while agitating them with a rotating motion, it even has an alarm to tell you when it's completed the test, the time for which can be programmed in to suit individual products.
