Water for Pe-Hill School, Kenya

Latest Update on Borehole

Following the installation of a borehole for fresh water at Pe-Hill School it was apparent that a distribution system was needed. CEO Ed Starke was on the case right away and funding was provided. Equipment including Around 800m of piping was required to carry water from the borehole to the storage tanks.

Ballcocks and diverter valves were also needed so that the tanks most used would be the ones to fill first.

As you can see from the pictures, work is now well under way, although the project suffered a number of delays due to the consequences of coronavirus.

At one point it was even possible that the school would have been taken over to provide emergency hospital faclities, luckily this proved unnecessary.

We're looking forward to hearing that the project is complete.
